Chatbots are game changers when it comes to productivity. A search task that used to takes minutes on Google now can be done in seconds with ChatGPT. No wonder that ChatGPT is the top 1 app in the productivity category on both App store and Play store.

Top Productivity Apps on Play Store Today

Nothing is more frustrating than spending much time on a tedious task, that's why chatbot apps are taking over, they are free to use (crazy!), easily available and easy to use.

Leanring Faster:

My favourite use of ChatGPT is when you are coding or learning to code, it can accelerate your speed by 10x. Instead of jumping from one website to another on Google or from one stack-flow to another one, you can just ask ChatGPT anything, including interpreting and suggesting codes. This use of ChatGPT can apply on learning any new skill, it makes faster.

Automating tasks (the tedious non-creative ones)

Automation is my second favourite use of Chatbots, although to use them for automation you will need to integrate them (which requires coding) or use platforms that are already doing that, some of them are free!

Other examples where Chatbots/AI tools excel:

  1. Easing the Load and Liberating Talent: A lot of work in any organisation is routine and repetitive. Chatbots excel at these tasks which they complete faster and often more efficiently than humans1. They’re supremely focused and don’t get easily distracted. Assigning high-demand, but low-level work to a bot can free up time for the higher value work where human knowledge, intuition, and empathy really count.
  2. Providing Better Customer Service And Satisfaction: Dialogue is a key feature of chatbots. They’re able to process natural language which makes them good at dealing with customer queries1. Chatbots are always on and available 24/7. They can provide speedy, near instant responses.
  3. Time Management: Chatbots can help manage your working day by reminding you of deadlines, informing you when a task is pending or complete, and even booking meetings or arranging travel itineraries.
  4. Onboarding and Training: Chatbots can assist new employees by helping them set up their accounts, quickly access learning materials, or schedule meeting times with different employees.
  5. Drafting Emails: Drafting up what is meant to be a quick email can end up being a tedious, time-consuming task. Chatbots can help draft emails, saving time and ensuring the message is clear and professional.

Outro:

Soon, not using ChatGPT when you are digitally lost is going to be similar to not using Google Maps when you are locationally lost. Next article is on how to integrate with ChatGPT API using Python.
